This week's memory: Camping

We tried camping as a family for the first time last year. Let's just say that it didn't go very well. The wind blew all night long making the tent crack and snap, which didn't help my little guy stay asleep. So all night long he's whining and complaining and I'm getting more and more irritated. Strangely we still enjoyed ourselves and are planning to go again this year. My journaling is humorous and asks the question: "Are we crazy or fun?" (I'm still wondering.)

Here is the layout I created:

This week's techniques: Free Form Design and Machine Stitching

While many of my layouts have a grid or square design, I do like to mix it up. I recently purchased a new triangle punch and wanted to put it to use so thus a "free form" design was born. I also thought you might want to see how I machine stitch on my layouts so be sure to watch the video for how I approach stitching on my layouts.

Here are the close-up photos of this layout, which shows the machine stitching on the triangle punches:

You can watch the helpful, start-to-finish video tutorial HERE on my Youtube channel or below to learn how I incorporated these techniques into my layout:

Below I've suggested the products you might consider when creating a similar layout (including the products used on this layout). If an item is out of stock, be sure to search for similar items by using words like "punch" or "camping" or "stamps" to help you find exactly what you're looking for.
