Today's Book Review is a book from one of my favorite period-piece authors: Sarah Eden. Sarah perfectly creates wonderfully flawed and yet perfect characters. Her newest series focuses on the Penny Dreadfuls and mysteries that surround characters in the story.
I've read nearly all of Sarah's titles, and this approach is a new and fresh take on writing for her. Inside the book are fun snippets of stories her characters have written giving you additional flavor of the time period. I would recommend "The Gentleman and the Thief" to those looking for a clever proper romance. Sarah's book are always completely clean and read quickly but leave you feeling utterly satisfied and in love with her stories and characters.
Be sure to start the series with book #1: "The Lady and the Highway Man," which starts the series off with two very strong and stubborn characters.
