Dip Dye House Shaped Pegboard

Pegboard is hands-down one of the best ways to get organized. And while pegboards often come in very plain colors and shapes, there are also lots of awesome shaped ones in new finishes to choose from. This house-shaped pegboard was designed by Jillibean Soup and can be found at many JoAnn stores or online. To give this house-shaped pegboard a special treat, we used spray paint to create a dip dye effect on the pegboard.

House Shaped Pegboard with Dip Dye Paint Technique:

This pegboard already came in a house shape. You can cut down any pegboard to a house shape and then sand the edges if you can't find this specific product. Then simply tape off the design you want to paint. This project features a diagonal line of paint.

The completed project looks beautiful with a coral paint from Rustoleum. You could also use acrylic paint or even a stain for this project.

This would make a perfect gift for a friend, a girlfriend, a mom, or grandma, or for a daughter. It's perfect for storing jewelry on the pegs. Pegs can be moved to different holes to get a different storage configuration.
