Die Cut Easter Bunny Treat Bags Tutorial

Look for an Easter themed manual die cut. I'm using this bunny die from Echo Park Paper.

To cut a shape through just the front of the bag, you'll need to place the die INSIDE the bag. I used a small piece of tape to hold the die in place. The cutting edge of the die should cut the front of the bag and will look like this once you remove the die from the inside of the bag:

Cut a piece of acetate to fit inside the bag (wide and tall enough to cover the die cut shape). Use double sided sticky tape around the edges of the plastic. Again make sure none of the tape will show through the die cut opening. Slide the plastic inside the bag and attach.

To die the top of the bag, slip a border strip die over both sheets of the bag (see my photo for the best placement. Make sure the design is centered along the bag top.

Fill each bag with colorful Easter candy. Then deliver to grandkids, neighbors, and friends.
