SCT Delivered: Butterfly Friendship Cards

Because Halloween is around the corner, I wanted to show you how you can take a traditional, non-seasonal stamp set and use seasonal colors as the inspiration for your cards. It's a great way to get inspired and send your friends something extra special. These friendship cards are definitely going to make my best friends smile.

I combined two of my favorite stamps sets from SCT to create this butterfly set. While I set out to use Halloween colors, what ended up happening was that the butterflies began to resemble Monarch butterflies. Happy coincidence!

I used clear embossing and white embossing powder to make some of my phrases and images pop. I stuck to a very simple color scheme (again inspired by Halloween colors), and the cards look a lot more dynamic and sophisticated.
