Father's Day Paper Boutonniere

Give Dad something special to wear on Father's Day. Try this "Father's Day Paper Boutonniere." All it takes are a few supplies to create the perfect kid-friendly craft, your kids can make and give to Dad. He'll enjoy dressing up his favorite suit with this handmade, thoughtful gift.

Paper Boutonniere Instructions

To create the Paper Boutonniere, follow the steps below:

1. Use a digital or manual die cut machine to cut a variety of leaves from green paper. Try using different leaf styles and different colors of paper to get a good variety. Also vary the length and width of the leaves.

2. Use a digital or manual die cut machine to cut THIS flower die from Silhouette. I chose an Anemone and added a blue brad to the center.

3. Thread wire around the bottom of the flower and add leaves to the back of the boutonniere.

4. Wrap floral tape around the wire.

5. Tie a coordinating ribbon around the bottom of the boutonniere and add a push pin.

Here's another look at the boutonniere. I added a bit of blue with another die cut to finish the boutonniere before I placed it on the suit lapel.
