Patriotic Treat Boxes How To

Fill these patriotic treat boxes with red, white, and blue candy! They make the perfect treat for the 4th of July. Serve them at your picnic, as a party favor, or as a gift for neighbors who come to watch fireworks with you. These clear treat boxes work great with colored candy, and hold lots of delicious goodies!

Patriotic Treat Boxes Tutorial:

Step 1: Fill boxes with red, white, and blue colored candies. I used Sour Patch Kids. But you could use whatever candy you like. My clear boxes are 3" square. Wrap red Baker's Twine around the boxes three times and tie into a bow.

Step 2: Use your Silhouette Machine to cut pinked circles from blue cardstock (cut them slightly smaller than the box width). Cut white circles that will easily fit inside the pinked circles you've created. Then cut the number "4" just slightly less tall than your box (these will be slightly larger than your circles). Assemble and mount on each box front.

Step 3: Add toothpick USA flags to the circles.
