It's Hard to Come Back

We FINALLY got to take our family vacation that we had originally hoped to take during spring break this year. Thwarted by the evil flu, we ended up staying home and working through our illness. Last week, however, we finally slipped away to a tropical destination as a family. We chose a lovely on-the-beach hotel in California that allowed us to sneak out to the water any time of day but come back for long-naps and rest when we needed it. It was an incredible vacation where we didn't do much of anything. It was exactly what we needed.

Now we're back home and ready to take on the world again. Hopefully a little more rested than when we started.
