So can you help a girl out? If you had bedding that looks like this, and haven't yet (obviously) decided on a wall paint color, would you go with this headboard color?

Or this headboard color?

Or this head board color?

Leave me your favorite pick in the comments section below. I'd love to hear where your heart takes you.
I would go for the grey, because I like it the best and I think as grey is a true neutral it will go with whatever wall colour you end up picking.
ReplyDeleteI like how fun the blue one is but in the long run I think the gray will win. It will go with just about everything!
ReplyDeleteI am for the gray too. It is a bigger piece, price wise. I love that it is neutral. It is easier to change out bedding and paint color down the road and the bed will always work.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for grey! It will go with everything! You can change your wall and bedding colours dozens of times...
ReplyDeleteMiddle colour...grey
ReplyDeleteInitially I thought the blue one, it's very striking, but after studying all three, my heart said go with the gray one. It's a very soothing tone and neutral, so will go with anything.
ReplyDeleteGrey for me... it goes with everything! it's so easy to paint one of the walls in a color of your choice, get new comforter and your bedroom is redecorated!
ReplyDeleteI like the second one...from Country Living. Lucky you to get to redecorate.
ReplyDeleteI adore the blue one, but long term I would probably pick the white for versatility. I'm not as much of a grey fan, but perhaps if the headboard had more architectural details like the first and last ones I might like it better. P.S. My Mom created a handmade headboard just like these with Plywood, foam/batting, a staple gun and some decorative nailheads for a bargain and it looks beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteGoing against the other comments here. I say go for the pop of color in the headboard and do the walls grey. The blue headboard will go with more than you think (in terms of bedding) and will provide you with a dark grounding point. I went back and looked at your other post on the bedroom and it looks like you've got a lot of grey/white already.
ReplyDeleteTo add to my comment, the grey one is gorgeous in that photo but notice that it's got the blue nightstand whereas yours are white. I don't dislike the grey though, especially since it's a darker grey.
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of the darker one, but think you would tire of that after awhile. I would go for the last one, because you then change colors anytime and not worry. You could also bring in brighter contrast color in pillows, etc. to your room and the change would be easy whenever another color strikes your fancy.
ReplyDeleteI like the blue one - with gray walls it would be stunning! Agree with posters who note that the gray is more neutral and would allow for bedding/color changes down the road.
ReplyDeleteI really love the grey one.
ReplyDeleteI would go for the gray WALL paint in the second picture. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the gray but please note that gray doesnt usually look great with brown. Needs white to look crisp.
ReplyDeleteI like the navy because its a statement piece, nice background and wouldnt easily show every smudge.
Excuse typos, kindle -sigh.
The grey is most calming, which is great for a master bedroom.

ReplyDeleteJen, the first dark blue is the best choice. Just ask your hubby;).
ReplyDeleteSecond or third, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteLove 2nd, the grey is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI like the grey! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the dark blue...such a lovely color!
ReplyDeleteDecisions!!! Everyone has posted great reasons why they made their choices. I personally am not a blue person, so one is out. A warm grey goes with a lot of different colors. I like the style of 3, but the grey of 2, so I am of no help at all :)
