From time-to-time I'll focus on a particular paper crafting tool or product type that I'm loving at the moment. I share a few of the products that I love and ways I like to use them in a special blog post, and then I'll share a few samples of how I (or some of my favorite designers) have used them as well.
This week I'm focusing on a product that became popular earlier last year: Enamel Dots. Enamel dots add just a little pop of color to a project. They can be used in place of spray mist dots, or jewels. They come in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes so the possibilities are endless.
Here are a few enamel dots that I think are fun and would look good on any project. You can also search by "ENAMEL DOT" to find additional choices in the 2Peas store:
Here are some samples of how I've used enamel dots on my projects:
Idea #1: Use them in a line from largest to smallest to lead the eye to another part of the layout.

Idea #2: Use them in a cluster.

Idea #3: Use at least two sizes each time.

So have you tried enamel dots yet? What are you waiting for? They are seriously so much fun and add just a touch of smooth texture to your page. They are easy to apply as they are stickers and come in so many colors. You'll soon find yourself addicted to them.
Addicting I tell ya! I enjoy card layouts!
ReplyDeleteI love enamel dots! They are such a wonderful way to add a touch of color, shine and dimension without being too fancy or feminine! Thanks for sharing all the different kinds. I hadn't realized all the different companies that were making them!
