2Peas Share: All About Me Layout

Why is it that layouts about ourselves can be so difficult? It seems so much easier to simply concentrate on others in our memory books. But this month, 2Peas challenged the Garden Girls to create a layout "All About Me." I wanted to talk about some of the lesser known facts about myself in the following layout:

Here are some additional facts that you might not know about me (including some of those that I included in this page):

 My ears aren't pierced.

 I absolutely hate flying.

 I didn't drive until I was in my 20's.

 I lost my oldest son to cancer when he was just 13 years old.

 I've never traveled outside the US.

 I can't wear jewelry for more than a few hours because the weight of it is too distracting.

 My parents are divorced.

 I lost my baby brother just two years after my son passed away.

 I'm not much of a crier. I actually hate it when I cry.

 It's more likely that I'm burning a scented candle than baking.

 I'd watch every movie ever made of anything written by Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott, or Lucy Maud Montgomery.

 I often dream that I'm a super hero saving the world and can fly (strange, since I hate flying).

 I am addicted to peanut and plain M&M's.

 I'm a voracious reader but it's all fantasy or YA fiction. I need to branch out a bit.

 I actually miss going to school. Crazy, right?

 I'm LDS (a Mormon).

 I decorate my house in my head before going to bed each night. It puts me to sleep every time.

Don't you want to give your posterity a realistic glimpse into your personality? While it's great to discuss where you went and how you felt, don't forget to include the little quirks that make you . . . YOU!
