Layouts are somewhat like children. And I could never pick a favorite with my kids. I often feel the same way about my layouts, but then from time-to-time I will create one that makes my heart sing and my creativity soar. That's not bragging. That's the sure joy of having all the elements align perfectly. And if you're a crafter, you understand that doesn't happen as often as you would like. So when this quirky little layout came from me, I was super happy. It made me feel creative.
As you can see, I tried new things like negatively die cutting my journaling, spray mist on my favorite new "Mistables" from Studio Calico and 2Peas, and the lovely wooden camera shapes to highlight some of the "o's" in my journaling. You can find additional photos of this project HERE at 2Peas.
I'm so happy at the way it turned out. Know who was one of my biggest inspirations for this layout? The ever amazing Lisa Truesdell. That woman just knocks my socks off with her creativity. And guess what? Now she has a fun Mini Album Workshop she is offering through 2Peas HERE!
Want to win a spot in her workshop? Simply leave a comment here on this blog post about why you want to take this class. Include your 2Peas name so we can send you the class. All comments are due by Sunday, June 17 to qualify. I will select ONE winner and announce it here on the blog on Monday. Good luck!
