I sometimes struggle with thematic pages. Funny, right? I have gobs and gobs of thematic products, but I'm typically drawn to more emotionally driven layouts. But for this month's 2Peas Garden theme, I needed to create a layout based on "Easter." So I wanted to try a different approach. I downloaded and cut this large chevron pattern with my Silhouette machine. Then I filled the shape with both patterned paper and some machine stitching. This is the end result of the die cut shape:
And this is the final project once I added photos, some patterned paper banners and such:
