Spring Break Day #2
We did . . . nothing!
I think we were so worn out from all the walking on Monday and uncomfortable shoes we had no energy.
So Jimmy played Starcraft.
And Katelyn played the Wii.
And they both watched movies.
And Mom took a nap!
Completely perfect day--especially with the raging snow storm outside.
Thankfully it should warm up quite a bit over the next few days. I'm ready for some sunshine. Plus I need to weed the yard. Don't want to weed the yard. But I NEED to weed the yard. :)
Here's one layout I created this morning. A groovy page using the "Free Spirit" line from Little Yellow Bicycle. I believe this product line will be shipping to stores soon so keep an eye out!
Supplies:
* Cardstock: Provo Craft, Bazzill, Die Cuts with a View
* Pattern paper: Little Yellow Bicycle
* Lace cardstock, pins, stickers, fabric stickers, chipboard stickers, epoxy stickers, chipboard frame, canvas letters: Little Yellow Bicycle
* Brads: Karen Foster Design
* Metal circle tag: Making Memories
* Swiss Dots Embossing Folder: Provo Craft
* Die Cut Machine: Cuttlebug for Provo Craft
* Font: 2Peas Tasklist from www. twopeasinabucket.com
We're off in a bit for today's adventure and some errands, but be sure to check out Scrapbook Trends' Blog today for a tutorial on using Stickles. Here's the page I created for the sample:
I have to say that Stickles are super easy to use. The hardest part . . . waiting for the glue to dry. :) I hope you enjoy the project today.
Love the first layout! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletecute layouts - your day 2 sounds like our entire spring break - very uneventful. Thanks for the heads up on my email - i still don't have it back - probably never will - so email me at bhurd1976@gmail.com so i can have your email addy again. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteyour day 2 makes me feel so much better. we almost always do staycations, since we don't travel or anything. we try and plan things to keep us busy. but we always end up pooped and lazy by the second or third day. just relaxing at home can be perfect though. love your layouts ... i have the free spirit collection sitting on my desk, with a few layouts started :)
