Trick-or-Treat Halloween Iron-On Bag Tutorial:

Step 1: Gather your supplies. You will need a black bag (in any size), white iron-on vinyl (I used some from Cricut), a digital die cut machine (I used my Silhouette Cameo), an iron, and a thin towel.

Step 2: Open your design in Silhouette. I used this design HERE.

Step 3: Ungroup the shape and move any parts of the quote you don't want off your workspace. I simply selected a few of the phrases, removed them, and then moved the other parts of the quote down towards the leftover words. I did this because my bag measured about 8" square, and I wouldn't have room for the full quote.

Step 4: Flip the image horizontally so it reads backwards.

Step 5: Cut the file from smooth heat transfer vinyl (make sure the dull side is facing up). Weed out any part of the phrase you don't want on the bag.

Step 6: Flip the transfer sheet over so you can center the phrase on the bag.

Step 7: Place a thin towel over the transfer sheet and bag.

Step 8: Use the cotton setting or 300 degrees on your iron to add the phrase to the bag. It takes several minutes for a large cut file like this to set. Make sure the iron is dry and do not use the steam setting.

Step 9: Peel up the transfer backing to ensure all parts of the file were transferred. If any part is not sticking, keep ironing.
