CTMH Wild and Punny Card Set

What is your most favorite stamped image to color? Mine is probably flowers. People are fun too. But lately I've been trying my hand at animals. Coloring animals can be challenging as they often have fur, feathers, scales, and more. I thought I'd share this daring Close to My Heart card set that features the "Wild & Punny" stamp and die set. You can see how fun animals can be to color just by looking at these darling creatures:

If you take a closer look, you can see that on some of the animals I add dots for fur or scales. I add them in patterns that match what real animal skin or fur might look like. It takes some practice, and I'm definitely still practicing, but I thought you'd like to see how fun this technique can be.

Be sure to pin your favorite images for inspiration later. Make your own card set by cutting down card bases or cardstock to 3" square. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of each card, add twine, and then stamp, color, and die cut each animal.
