How to Break Up a Phrase on a Wooden Stamped Image

This blog post was generously sponsored with stamps from Hampton Art and a flower die from The Stamp Market. All opinions expressed herein are mine.

Many wooden stamps come with phrases that feel locked together. Want to try something different? Stamp the phrase on white cardstock. Then use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out the phrase. Then stack them in a new way on your card. This gives you so many more options for making a card. You'll never feel locked into one design again!

You can see here I added some layered die cut flowers on top of a flower background stamp. The twine wrapped around the card mimics the look of stems and adds some texture. The flower centers are enamel dots.

The phrase and the background stamp are Chloe & Cam stamps from Hampton Art and can be found at AC Moore and JoAnn. The rest of the supplies can be located below.
