Valentine Heart Treat Box Tutorial:
Step 1: Use the Silhouette die cut machine to cut three of the Heart Candy Boxes by Amy Robison from red cardstock. Roll up each scallop strip and attach the flap to the opposite flat side of the cut file.
Step 2: Use double-sided sticky tape or a glue gun to adhere the top scallops to each other (this forms the scallops in the heart.
Step 3: Fill the treat box with candy or small gifts.
Step 4: Use double-sided sticky tape or a glue gun to close the bottom scallops (just as you did with the top two shapes).
Step 5: Punch nine large circles and nine medium circles from blush pink cardstock.
Step 6: Use scissors to snip each circle from the edge to the middle of the punch.
Step 7: Use a glue gun to overlap the cut flaps. Then overlap and glue the three large circles together forming a circle of petals as you glue. Add the three medium circles to the center of the flower.
Step 8: Cut six small leaves from green cardstock and glue to the front of each of the heart treat boxes. Glue the flowers to the treat box in between each leaf.
Step 8: Use fringe scissors to cut a 4" strip of cream cardstock. Roll up the fringe and glue ends together. Open up the fringe, and hot glue the bottom of the rolled up fringe to the flower centers.
Step 9: Stamp a phrase in black ink onto kraft cardstock. Cut each phrase into a strip and notch the right ends of the strips.
Step 10: Hot glue the strips to the right of each flower.
Make several for your friends and place them in a small strawberry basket. Then deliver them as a surprise for Valentine's Day.
