Have you tried die cutting for your paper crafting projects? I LOVE to add die cut elements to my projects. This gorgeous Drop and Dot Die was made exclusively for Scrapbook.com by Tonic Studios. The concept behind this die us that it cuts out an image and you fill in the image with paint, chalk, watercolor, cardstock patterned, or whatever you'd like. I really wanted to add some dimension to a gift bag, and I knew that this die would be perfect. Keep reading on how I specifically used this die to make this pretty bag.
Die Cut Flower Bag Tutorial:
Step 1: Use the die cut to cut the shape from black cardstock.
Step 2: Die cut the image from several other colors and add colors inside the open image.
Step 3: Cut the shape into a square and mount on the front of a gift bag with white photo corners.
Step 4: Use enamel dots to follow the small dot pattern on the die cut image. You could also use Nuvo dots to fill in these dots as well.
