"Hello" Stenciled Background Card

For this month's "Jen's Cards" series, I wanted to share how stencils can add the perfect background image for your cards. Check back each Wednesday to see the latest card and shop the supplies. Today's card is a "Hello" stenciled background card with bright, dynamic colors.

To create this card, I used a small star stencils and used a blending tool to add a deeper shade of fuchsia ink to the stencil. What I ended up with is a great tone-on-tone background for my card. The rest of the card is built with different dies and stamps from Echo Park Paper. What looks like a deep mustard yellow on this card, is actually a shimmery gold cardstock. It's my new favorite paper. I've used it several times on the cards I've shared here.

Closer Look at the Card: Here are some additional photos of the finished card. Be sure to pin your favorites for inspiration!
