To create this project, you'll need a set of three circular boxes in descending sizes. Discard all but one of the lids. For the bottom section I turned over the box and wrapped pattern paper around the sides. I added some more paper in a different pattern to the top of the box. I added some brown lace with a glue gun.
For the second tier, I turned over a smaller circular box and applied different papers and embellishments.
For the final tier, I left the lid on the box and decorated both the lid and the box. I specifically chose one of the scenes from the "Autumn Stroll" paper as I really loved that girl on the bike. I added a wooden spool with some more lace wrapped around it on top of the box.
Here's an additional photo of this project so you can see some of the details:
I recommend using a glue gun for the details, mod podge for the paper, and strong adhesive to hold other items in place. Make sure when selecting your circles, that the 12" paper wraps around sufficiently. If you come up short, create a another section from the same patterned paper doing your best to match up the patterns. Hide this section on the back of the stack.
