Wishes Die Cut and Stamped Card

I love mixing and matching die cuts with stamps. It's a great way to get a custom card. For this Christmas Card I used both stamping and die cutting. Here's a look at the finished card:

To create this card you will need:

* Holiday background stamp
* Snowflake background stamp
* "Wishes" word die
* Snowflake border die
* Snowflake die
* Green enamel dots
* Green, white, kraft, and blue cardstock
* Twine
* Corner Rounder
* Manual Die Cut Machine
* Blue and Green stamping ink

To create the card, use blue stamping ink to stamp the holiday background stamp onto the blue cardstock. Use this image to create the card foundation. Use green stamping ink to stamp the snowflake background stamp onto green cardstock. Mount this at a diagonal at the bottom of the card. Die cut the snowflake border from white cardstock. Trim off any excess ends of the die so it doesn't overlap the card. Place a strip of kraft cardstock across the top of the snowflake border. Wrap white twine around the card four to five times and tie into a bow. Use a corner rounder to round the corners of the card. Die cut a snowflake from white cardstock and mount on the card. Die cut the word "wishes" from blue cardstock three times and glue together to create a more dimensional shape. Mount the word on the card and add an enamel dot for the "i" in the word (this should be centered in the snowflake die). Add additional enamel dots to the card. Mount the entire card on a card base (trim to fit the card).
