Make It Meaningful Bonus Project: Graduation Card

Make It Meaningful Bonus Project:

Last week I shared a Graduation banner that uses this same collection from Echo Park Paper. Today I wanted to show you how you can create a card which matches the banner. Again, I blinged up this project with some glitter paper, gold tissue paper, and some sequins. It's amazing what a few embellishments can to do a paper collection.

For big events like graduations, a handmade card is especially meaningful. Take the time to match it to the school the graduate has attended, or give it a special touch by matching it to their personal style or personal preferences. They will come to cherish cards like these when there is some thought and planning involved.

To Make This Project:

Supplies:
* Echo Park Paper "Grad" Mini Theme Collection
* Gold Glitter Paper
* Gold Tissue Paper
* Pearl Stick Pins
* Gold Sequins
* Tan Photo Corners
* Fringe Scissors

You can search for many of these items HERE in the 2Peas store.

Instructions:
Using the same collection from last week, use the leftover items to create a card. Use fringe scissors to cut the tissue paper (seriously, these are worth investing in). Then add some bling with some carefully placed sequins in two different sizes. Cards are the perfect opportunity to add some of those embellishments you've been saving. Match the metallic finishes to the style of the card: gold or silver for a party, bronze for an aged look, and silver for boys or girls. Little details make anything more meaningful.
