Our family doesn't have daily December traditions. I wish we did, but with a 17 year old and a 10 year old, it's often difficult to be in the same place at the same time. And I don't need an entire album filled with doing dishes, laundry, and driving kids to school--which seems like our typical December activities. So instead of a traditional "December Daily" album, I'm focusing on an "Elf on the Shelf" album. Last year was the first time our elf made his appearance, and even my then 16 year old daughter enjoyed discovering where "Norman" would appear each day.
Here's a look at the products I gathered for this album:
You can watch the video on these products HERE on my Youtube channel.
Here's a look at the album cover:
You can find this project HERE on 2Peas.
Now let's take a little peek inside:
I created a special video just for you of how I put this album together. While I would have liked to have shown you every page as I made it, the album took me over 10 hours to complete. This would NOT have been practical. Instead I focused on some of the basics and then show you every page in the album. You can watch it HERE on my Youtube channel or below:
I've included the products I used for this album below. Look for additional items that would work for this type of album HERE in the 2Peas store. You can also search by "CHRISTMAS" for additional product ideas.
Don't forget to check out the exclusive cut and print, and die cut shapes from Two Peas HERE this month. Remember they are ONLY available in November so get them while you can:

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Hermalyn. :)
DeleteSuch a fun album. Love seeing all your elf antics! I was considering getting one finally for my 8 year old and 13 year old daughters this year, but my usually brave 8 year old said the elf sort of creeped her out so I ultimately decided to pass. Knowing me at bedtime I have a feeling I would forget about him many nights anyway so maybe it's for the best. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Mendi. I wouldn't want to scare anyone either. :( Lots of other fun traditions for the holidays though. :)
DeleteThis was SUCH a treat to watch, and I will be coming back to it again as I create my own Christmas Daily journal. Thanks for all your awesome tips and wonderful inspiration....I totally love your scrappy style!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked it, Kathy. I'd love to see what you create. :)
DeleteI love this! Our elf will be making many appearances in my December album.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea, Amanda! :)
