Technique Tuesday: Studio AE

To say that I love Ali Edwards' stamp sets from Technique Tuesday would be a big understatement. I love her stamp sets! Considering I am one of those designers who cringes when she sees her own handwriting on a page, and I might label a page a "failure" if I actually have to include my handwriting on the page, obviously I'm happy to use script that is both legible and beautiful. And Ali's got some serious handwriting skills!

So I was thrilled when Technique Tuesday asked me to use this month's Studio AE stamp set to create a few projects through this month. Today I decided to create a card using the script stamps on this set. Just a simple little phrase makes this fun card even more personal:

2Peas Holiday Card Making Event

I was happy to participate in the 2Peas "Holiday Card Making" FREE Event this month. Several designers (including some of the Garden Girls) both created cards and answered questions about how they approach holiday card making. For my sample I created the following card using a premade card from Doodlebug Designs:

Cyber Monday Savings

My husband is a night owl, and I'm an early bird. This morning at 3 a.m. when I was getting up (and he was heading to bed) he notified me that he had already scored on a Cyber Monday purchase for me. I do believe this is the first present of the season for me. And while presents for me shouldn't be the focus of the holidays, I am more than mildly curious about what he may have purchased. I wonder if the package will give it away at all when it arrives. I don't like knowing what I'm getting, but still I wonder what it is!!

While my husband was most likely doing his shopping at some manly electronic store, today 2Peas is offering an additional savings in addition to the Black Friday sale they offered this weekend.
