Jane hand draws each of the stamp images. I so admire her talent as I have very little in the fine art talent department. Let me show you how cute her images are!
The first project I created uses the "Pretty Peonies" stamp set. I stamped the first flower, then masked it off and stamped a second flower (same image) slightly lower than the first stamp. I colored in these images with my Copic Markers (R22, R24, R27, YG03, YG17, YR15, YR18) then cut them out. I then layered them onto a circle of pink dotted patterned paper and then added the "you are loved" sentiment in black ink:
The second project I created uses the "Party Time" stamp set. For this card, I stamped the stacked present image on a die cut label cut from kraft cardstock. Then I stamped the image again on several different sheets of patterned paper. I cut out each present and mounted them on the image stamped on the die cut shape. Then I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the stack of presents. This is a quick and easy way to dress up an open stamp image:
For the last project I combined both of these techniques. Using the "Party Time" and the "Big Sentiments" stamp sets, I first stamped three of the cake images onto white cardstock. I used Copic Markers (E11, E25, E55, Y15, Y17) to color in the chocolate cake and the candles. Then I stamped the same cake images onto different patterned papers. I cut the frosting images from the paper and mounted them on the cake images. This gives the cakes even more dimension:
