Am I the Only One Freaking Out?
I did the math this morning. If my daughter follows my history, she will be married in SIX YEARS. What? How can that be possible? Is it inappropriate to want to ground her to her room for the rest of her life? I told my son at his second grade program today that he's not allowed to keep growing up. Why does the end of school year make me so sad? I think it's because it dawns on me that time moves so quickly and they really are growing up and that someday they will move away. That just makes me sad. :(
Kids should stay kids and live with their parents. Of course, that would have killed me as a teenager so I do get it. But I can't believe how quickly the time flies. Joey would have been a Senior this fall and 17 on his birthday this past April. Where has all that time gone?

I love your LO...and am off to watch the video. My son is graduating form 8th grade this year, and I too have had a case of the blues. Missing his little boy self......they certainly do grow up way too fast!
