The Post Play Recovery

Poor Kate. She is so sick. :( I think the late nights, the long practices, and the excitement of the play has just plain wore her out. She's been on the couch yesterday and today with cold-like symptoms. So run down. She has one more performance tomorrow night, and then we're done.

Yesterday we surveyed the garden area trying to plan for the grass, which arrives on April 9th. Woohoo!! But I was in tears as I realized our dirt, which we had delivered in late fall is great at producing weeds. I'm sick looking at all the work that has to be done AGAIN! Brett may hire a guy to come scrape one more time because I don't think I have it in me to dig up weeds for weeks on end again. I am thoroughly excited for the grass, however!!

I had one more layout for this month go up here at 2Peas. You can see more detail shots and locate the supply list there. I went a little crooked on this layout because it looks more interesting to me. So fun to play with the fun robot/boy supplies out there. I combined a bunch to create this layout:

And here are some photos from the "Three Billy Goats Gruff:" Here is the "happy to see me pose."

Here is the "I'm such a great reader pose:"
Here's the "I'm bored while the other two plays go on pose:"
And here's the "I can't stand it if someone doesn't do their part right, so I'm going to boss them into doing it right pose:"
And here's the set design for this prolific play:
What is it about seeing your kids perform that makes me get all weepy? Seriously! I love it. :)
