Long Time, No See!

What a crazy couple of weeks I'm having. I love blogging. Love writing. And yet, these past few weeks, I've been so bogged down with other things I haven't really had the opportunity yet to do it much. Hopefully that will change. I had some big deadline projects, some home drama with the plays and illness, and some other life things that keep me busy. Not complaining, mind you. Just saying. Hee, hee.

I wanted to share with you a layout I completed for today's "Work It Out Wednesday" which uses your Electronic Die Cut Machines to create lace cardstock. I used both a Cricut Machine and a Silhouette Machine to complete this project. You can find the tutorial here on the Scrapbook Trends Blog. Here is my layout:

It's supposed to snow today and tomorrow so I'm going to finish up my larger deadlines and work on laundry and a video for 2Peas. Perfect day to be inside. Brrrr.

How is life keeping you busy? Has your March been crazy too? I'd love to see what my readers are up to!

  1. snow???? Oh I am so sorry Jen, it is actually supposed to be in the high 70's here in Indiana (wanna visit? LOL)

Anyway that layout of your little guy is just too cute! Love how you did the hearts. Very cool technique!

  2. CUTE! I love that heart border and the colors too. We are looking for rain, glad it won't be snow here.

  3. This is SO CUTE... And snow? I'm feeling for you it's 77 here right now and lovely! Hope you get some good weather soon!

  4. Yes, I agree... March has been super CRAZY! Hope April is much better! :)

Cute page here, Jen! Love the heart lace you created!

    Take it easy :)

  5. I always enjoy your blog....if you can find the time, stop by mine sometime. Love the LO of your kiddo and staying busy...yep, I'm always busy...with my real job (nursing), getting ready for my only son's July wedding, church activities, all the stuff at home and crafting when I can spare a minute! Sorry about the snow forecast...we are expecting 80* tomorrow :)

  6. Yikes - snow?! It reached 77 degrees today and supposed to reach 80 tomorrow here in South Texas. But I imagine a snow day makes for a nice creative day. :) Your layout is totally adorable. Love the hearts!

  7. Eeeew to snow!!!! It's MARCH! Love this technique.. I'll have to try it with my Sil. Always wanted to try new and funky things besides the typical cut 'em out dies..
