Are you familiar with the amazing "Shape the Shaker" card making system from Jillibean Soup? This new product line includes cards, tags, shaker containers, stamps, dies, and shaker fillers. Today I'm using one of the circle shaker cards, and the "Succulents" stamp and die set to create a fun window card. Keep reading for the instructions, Copic marker colors I used, and for tips and tricks on how to create this card. I've also pointed you to where you can find these amazing items in the shopping section below. Be sure to pin your favorite images to Pinterest. That way you'll have a great card idea at your fingertips any time!
Stamped Succulent Window Card Instructions:
Step 1: Stamp each image with Tuxedo Black stamping ink from Memento. Then color in each item with the Copic marker colors shown in the photo below.
Step 2: Use the coordinating dies to fussy cut out each stamped image.
Step 3: Cut a piece of teal cardstock and place inside the card. Mount the all but the cactus succulent on the front of the card. Use pop dots to give some of the die cut shapes dimension.
Step 4: Mount the cactus and flower images on the inside of the card. Make sure they can be seen from the circle window when the card is closed.
Step 5: Stamp a sentiment on black cardstock and emboss with white embossing powder. Mount this stamped sentiment at the bottom of the cactus image inside the card.
Step 6: Stamp a second sentiment on kraft cardstock and cut into a pennant flag shape. Mount on a stick pin and mount on the front of the card.
Here's another look at this card. You can see I layered some enamel dots to the card for some texture. I love that this card base has a slightly flecked pattern to it. It's perfect for a succulent card.
