Stepping Down from Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine

A few years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to meet Catherine with Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. I was blown away with her brilliant ideas, kindness, professionalism, and just general good person-ness (is that a word?). It wasn't long after our meeting, that Catherine invited me to film videos for their YouTube channel. I was honored. During the last few years I've been able to film videos with their incredible kits; create cards, layouts, and altered projects with products from their incredible sponsors; and just do what I love: create.

Last year I became part of their design team and was then invited to contribute to the magazine, and their blog. What an opportunity! If you haven't yet checked our their amazing print magazine, be sure to do so HERE. They also offer a digital version. If you're looking for a high-quality, inspirational magazine, this is the one. I really believe in what they are trying to do, and it was a privilege to work with such a talented group.

Over the past year as my health declined, and my full-time job became more demanding, I realized I needed to step down from my position on the magazine. Stepping down is NEVER easy, but it's especially hard when you love what you do, and the people you do it with. But I feel every company and person I've ever worked with deserves my very best, and when I can't give that, it's time to let go.

I want to thank Catherine for giving me the opportunity, for Meagan for her encouragement and friendship, and for all the SCT family for letting me be a part of their incredible group.

My last projects will be published in the Winter issue. I have already stopped filming videos. This was a very tough decision to make. If you get the chance to work with anyone from the SCT family, be sure to do so! It's rare to find such an incredible group of people that run such a great company.

Wishing all my buddies at the magazine ALL THE BEST!!!

I have been away from scrapping and reading blogs for awhile so I am getting caught back up (starting with you) and I'm sad to see this. I hope your health issues are getting better by today and that you are well.
