Fall Festival 2015 Day #1: Fall Shadowbox Craft

You can almost feel that fall is right around the corner. The temperature has dipped just a little bit. I'm seeing school clothes and fall sweaters in my favorite online stores. And frankly, I just love fall so I'm more than willing to wish it here. Let's celebrate our "Fall Festival" Day #1 event with a fun "Fall Shadowbox" craft that you can easily recreate. Here's a look at the craft I created for you today:

Fall Shadowbox Craft Tutorial

Want to recreate this project? Here are some steps to recreating this project.

Step 1: Gather a shadowbox and the embellishments and papers from "The Story of Fall" collection from Echo Park Paper.

Step 2: Cut some of the journaling cards to fit in the top boxes of the shadowbox. Add stickers, banners, and a journaling card tag tied with twine.

Step 3: Die cut a pinked circle from the solid red paper. Layer two patterned paper banners on top of one another and then add tan crochet twine wrapped around the banners.

Step 4: Layer the orange leaf sticker and the "fall" mason jar sticker on top of the pinked circle and white doily.

Step 5: Layer a photo onto the brown patterned paper. Add chipboard stickers to the photo. Thread twine through the chipboard button sticker and add to the phrase sticker. Mount the larger photo in the bottom box of the shadowbox.

  4. What a great shadowbox! I love stuff like this but have such limited wall space so hanging things like this is not really possible for me.
