Make It Meaningful: Love You Shaker Pocket

As Valentine's Day is fast approaching, I wanted to give you an additional idea for someone that you love with this "Love You Shaker Pocket." This sweet card or tag can be hung on a doorknob with the curled wire so your intended can easily find it. This is just one reason I love this card so much!

To create the tag, I stitched two rectangles of white diagonally striped vellum together. I placed sequins inside the pocket and then closed the pocket with pink decorative tape. I then decorated the pocket with a doily; brads; hand-cut, glittered leaves; stickers; lace; and more. I also embossed my sentiment in white on an extra piece of plain vellum.

Here's a look at the pocket close up. Note the white embossed sentiment. I love the look of embossing on vellum. Be careful when heat embossing on vellum. Hold the heat gun away from the vellum and slowly heat the embossing powder.
