Happy National Scrapbook Day!

Welcome to National and International Scrapbook Day! I hope you get to spend the entire day making beautiful layouts, winning great prizes, and chatting with online and local scrapbook friends. There are a few places I'm participating in challenges and chats today, and I wanted to share.

Two Peas in a Bucket:

Join me today on 2Peas at 9 a.m. CST for a chat with Celine Navarro and I.

Then check out my "Gold Color Trend Challenge" HERE for a chance to win a prize from 2Peas. You can see my inspiration layout above.

Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine:

Starting NOW you can join Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine on their blog HERE every hour on the hour today for a chance to play along in some challenges and to win some awesome prizes from their sponsors.

Here's a little peek at the project I provided:

Big Picture Classes:

Don't forget to upload your layout to Instagram for the 10,000 layouts on Instagram challenge. You will able to find mine on my Instagram HERE after 9 p.m. PST.

Here’s how to join the fun:

  1. Register for our National Scrapbook Day “10k” for FREE here.

  2. Log in to our private online classroom on Saturday, May 3, every hour from 9:00am PT to 6:00pm PT for a new quick-scrapbooking tip from one of our 10 amazing instructors.
  3. Follow @bigpictureclasses [http://instagram.com/bigpictureclasses] on Instagram to keep up with the fun and be eligible for our sponsored prize giveaways.
  4. Create as many pages as you can on National Scrapbook Day and post them to Instagram, using @bigpictureclasses tag and #NSD10k hashtag. Every full layout image you post (no close-ups or detail shots) is an entry into our random prize drawings.
  5. If you don't have a smartphone or Instagram account, you can upload layout images to the classroom gallery instead for some alternate prizes.
Deadline for uploading layouts is Monday, May 5 at 11:00pm PT. Prize winners will be announced in the classroom and on our Instagram feed on Tuesday, May 6. Important note: Your Instagram account must be set to public, at least for the duration of this event, in order for your posted layouts to be eligible for our prize giveaways. (We won't be able to see them otherwise.)

Echo Park Paper and Carta Bella Paper:

You can find challenges from both companies on the EP blog HERE and the CB blog HERE. This weekend I've been playing with their brand new stamps and die cuts creating cards for an upcoming event. Have you checked them out yet? Here's a peek at just a few:

Whatever you decide to do today, I hope it helps you remember why you love scrapbook so much!
