2Peas Make It Meaningful Video #2: Advice Layout

Welcome back to another "Make It Meaningful" video hosted by Two Peas in a Bucket. This week all of the Garden projects focus on "story telling." For me, I wanted to share a unique perspective on story telling by sharing advice. And since my teenage daughter has long since passed the point of wanting to hear my advice, I'm going to sneak it on a layout.

Make It Meaningful #2: Advice

Here is the layout that I created this week. For this layout I chose to share advice in chipboard sticker frames from October Afternoon. I also incorporated some photos of my daughter and centered everything down the middle of the page.

You can watch the entire start-to-finish process for this layout HERE on the 2Peas Youtube channel or below:

Here are some close-up photos of the layout, which shows how I shared advice with my daughter:

You can find additional information about this project HERE on Two Peas.
Challenge: This week I want you to think of someone that could benefit from some advice from you. It might even be you! Think of what advice you'd like to share and then think of a unique way to incorporate it onto your layout. You can share your projects with me by uploading them to the correct challenge gallery. All challenge entries will be due by January 23rd to qualify for this drawing. The prize will be awarded by Two Peas.

Bonus Project: From time-to-time, I'll include a bonus project to share how you can make this moment or memory more meaningful. For this week's "advice" theme, I wanted to create little tags that I could leave around the house for my daughter. You could do this same project and then include each tag on a few scrapbook layouts for the person you care about. Start by stamping a label in yellow on white cardstock. Then type or write in some advice and leave it for the person you care about.

Look for a new video coming next week! Next week we'll focus on capturing "touch" on our layouts.

Below are the products I used (or you could use) to recreate this layout. Think of creative frames or tags you could use for this project. If an item is sold out, see if you have something similar in your stash or search for something a little different in the Two Peas store.
