Product Focus #31: Blue Scrapbooking Supplies

For the month of September, I'm going to focus on COLOR. Look for fun color inspiration ideas in these Monday "Product Focus" scrapbooking product posts. Look for color inspiration in my weekly "Memories Made" videos. And look for a few other fun color items throughout the month.

This week for my Product Focus on color, I'm sharing some blue scrapbooking products. I store my items by color so it makes it easy to quickly find the items I'm looking for. This includes paper, letter stickers, and general embellishments. You can view my Craft Room Video HERE to see how I've organized my scrapbook room this way. Blue can be aqua, teal, navy, and so much more. Here are some blue color combinations to help you get started. You can find more of my favorite color combinations HERE in my "Color Combo" Pinterest board.

Here are some of the "BLUE" scrapbooking items you might consider. Did you know that you can search by color at 2Peas? Simply search by the words "BLUE" or "TEAL" or "AQUA" to find products in those colors. Be sure to watch the 2Peas store HERE for all the new items being added this month.

To share some ways I've included blue in my projects I'm sharing a few layouts and a card that will hopefully inspire you.

Idea #1: Combine blue with green products (as I did in this tribute layout about my son Joseph).

Idea #2: Combine blue with orange for a hot color trend.

Idea #3: Cut out shapes with your digital or manual die cut machine and create a scene for a card.

Blue is a hot color right now. It appears in nautical themed products as navy. It appears in soft pastels as aqua or teal water colored items. It appears as a happy sky blue in summer collections and denim in little boy collections. Do you have a favorite way to incorporate blue into your layouts and cards? I'd love to hear how in the comments section below.

  1. Blue and green are my go to colours now that I have a boy. I haven't tried orange and blue yet though!
