Memories Made #26 Scrapbooking Process Video: Love

Welcome to this week's "Memories Made" Scrapbooking Process Video. Each week I create a layout start-to-finish and share my process and tips and tricks here on my blog. You can subscribe to my Youtube channel HERE for all of my tutorial videos including this weekly series.

This week's memory: My Niece Visiting

I took several photos of my niece visiting over a year ago, but they weren't great photos. They were over-exposed and washed out. I knew that to make them shine again I would need to change them to black and white. Knowing that, I knew that I could use any color scheme that I wanted for this layout.

Here is the completed layout with the black and white photo:

This week's technique: Pinterest Ad Inspiration

This month I'm focusing on color on my blog. Last week I talked about Color Combos I found on Pinterest. This week I'm talking about "Ad Inspiration." I found this ad on Pinterest as well and pinned it to my "Graphic Art" board HERE to help inspire me later. I used this modern, graphic ad to inspired my color scheme for this layout. (Be sure to watch the video for how I used this color scheme to inspire my vintage themed layout).

Here are some close-up photos of the layout:

Loved how you used a collection that didn't appeal to me at all to make a beautiful vintage but still clean and put together page. Beautiful!
