This week's memory: The Relationship Between Two People

This week I'm documenting a general memory from a few years past. Because I started with a color inspiration rather than a story, I looked among my photos for a story that hasn't yet been told. I found one photo that I particularly loved which reminded me of how amazing it is when my niece wants one of us to hold her. I documented that memory on this color charged layout.

Here is the layout I created:

This week's techniques: Paint Chip Color Inspiration

I am inspired by many things. This week we painted my front room, and as I was shopping paint colors at my local home improvement store, I discovered several cool paint chips. I brought some home to serve as inspiration for projects I want to create. Here is the paint chip that inspired today's project:

Here are the close-up photos of this project that show how this color scheme inspired me:

You can watch the helpful, start-to-finish video tutorial HERE on my Youtube channel or below to learn how I was inspired to shop my own stash to match the highlighted paint chip color scheme:

Below I've suggested the products you might consider when creating a similar layout (including the products used on this layout). Start by shopping your own stash for papers and embellishments that will match your inspiration piece. Then look for a tool you haven't used in a while that you might incorporate on your project. If an item that I used to create this layout is out of stock, be sure to search for similar items by using words like "yellow" or "teal" to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Many of the products at 2Peas are grouped by colors, as well as, product type making shopping for a color scheme much easier.
