Leaving on a Jet Plane

This morning I leave for a beloved city where I spent four beautiful years of my life. I'm returning to Savannah, Georgia where my Mom will be presenting for a conference there. It's just us girls so we have lots of lovely plans for the week, including stopping at Tybee Beach, possibly hitting the Jacksonville Zoo, hooking up with friends in town, and just relaxing with more than a few good books.

Except for the flight there, which I will hate as I'm not a fan of flying it's shaping up to be a good trip.

I mean, how can you not be in love with a place like this:

River Street

And that's just a few glimpses into the area surrounding Savannah. I cannot wait to see old friends and spend some time resting with my amazing Mom. Despite the seven day forecast of rain, I cannot wait to be in the city I love again!
