2Peas Project: Backyard Easter Egg Hunt

I sometimes struggle with thematic pages. Funny, right? I have gobs and gobs of thematic products, but I'm typically drawn to more emotionally driven layouts. But for this month's 2Peas Garden theme, I needed to create a layout based on "Easter." So I wanted to try a different approach. I downloaded and cut this large chevron pattern with my Silhouette machine. Then I filled the shape with both patterned paper and some machine stitching. This is the end result of the die cut shape:

And this is the final project once I added photos, some patterned paper banners and such:

There are lots of fun Easter and spring supplies in the store right now. Below are products I used on the layouts, as well as, similar products you might prefer. You can find more photos and additional details for this project HERE at 2Peas.

  1. I love this page... I was drawn to it when I saw it at 2peas too.

I have trouble scrapping themed pages too. I love how you handled it.
