Fall Photo Challenge: Back to Nature

Yesterday right as my kids came home from school, I loaded them up in the car and drove to a local river walk trail. The leaves are just now beginning to turn and the weather is a balmy mid 70's. It's the perfect time to capture some fall photos.

I thought it might be fun to challenge you to begin capturing fall in your area. I'd love to here some of your favorite fall photo ideas. One photo that I captured this year is my daughter standing in field of golden weeds. Although the lighting was slightly off in the photo, I used Adobe Photoshop to alter the photo with some filters, changing the levels, and switching up the colors a bit. What I got was a fun photo that I will treasure for years.

Now it's your turn! Leave a comment with your favorite fall photo idea or link us to your fabulous fall photos. Please share your unique ideas, something specific and special to your area of the world! I'm hoping (as I'm sure my readers are as well) to know what signifies "fall" to you!

  1. Well, this challenge came at a perfect time. The three most recent posts on my blog (http://greendenise.blogspot.com) are all about autumn. Lots of photos there, plus a couple autumn-themed layouts. I'm looking forward to seeing fall photos from others--it will be interesting to see what October looks like in different areas.

  2. That is a great photo of your daughter. If you have any tips how to get your kids to cooperate and let you take photos... LOL I don't have many of them this year, not as many as I would like. :) Here is a link to my blog and some of my photos of fall here in Wisconsin. http://momma-paparazzi.blogspot.com/search/label/Fall
