Wonky Blogger and Some Updates!

My blogger editor has been churning and churning for a few days, but I found if I post a "nothing" post I can come back and edit. WHAT A PAIN!!!

So have you all been doing well? I feel out of the loop. If you're in the US, do you have plans for the big holiday? Not us. Just chores and chillin'. Maybe going swimming as a family on Monday. (which unfortunately means a bathing suit-GAH!!!)

I'm making some changes with my work commitments. I stepped down from a position at The Stamps of Life. Stephanie Barnard is a good friend and is both a creative genius and a really nice person. :) I want to thank her for the opportunity to work with her fabulous stamp designs. She has some fun things in the works so keep an eye out for her latest goodies!!

I saw a couple of comments about me joining the Penny Black Design Team and just wanted to clarify. Although I did have the opportunity to talk with the company about an opportunity to work on their team, it did not work out. They are a fabulous company with lovely stamps, and I'm really grateful to have even been considered. I just wanted them to know that I appreciate the offer. They are working on some fabulous stuff as well so keep an eye on this company as well.

I'm still working at all my other companies so I wanted to post my latest layouts that posted in the 2Peas Gallery. This first one uses a lot of the new travel line from Little Yellow Bicycle. I also got to include some of my favorite photos of our trip to Park City. You can see detailed photos of this layout and purchase supplies here at 2Peas:

The second layout that recently posted is about when my little son ran away to the center of our cul-de-sac. I made him a sack lunch "runaway kit" and wanted to create a layout around that. You can see more photos of this layout as well and see my supplies here:

This week was quite busy mailing off CHA projects for Karen Foster Design, doing something really fun for Scrapbook Trends, and then playing catch up with several other work projects. Jimmy is feeling much better (only a one day flu), but poor Kate had the same thing up at Girl's Camp. My poor babies. :( Thankfully neither Brett nor I caught it. I'm just suffering with horrid allergies, but I can take a pill for that so I will that any day over the flu.

Hope you are well and have a great weekend!

  2. So who all DO you work with? I'm curious to know! If I owned a scrapbook company, I'd be begging you to design for me. :)
