Would You Help Me with Something?

I'm revamping my stamp pad stash, and I need some recommendations for the following colors.

Please tell me you favorite company and name of the ink pad in these colors:

* Baby Pink (really light, delicate pink)
* Teal (strong, vibrant color)
* Teal (light and soft color)
* Purple (not too dark, but true purple)
* Violet (vibrant, reddish in nature)
* Orange (rich pumpkin color--but not rust)
* Navy Blue
* Cranberry or Ruby Red

Any other recommendations, must-have colors? The more I stamp the more I realize that I need GREAT ink!

Just leave some suggestions in the comments section please!! I really would love to hear what you like. :)

  2. My favorite inks, yes I actually stamp, would be the stampin dots in Craft by Stampin Up! I have three of the four sets. They are probably too small for what you are looking for though. I just enjoy that the teal is spot on for Bazzills teal cardstock, the olive too and so on.
    PS I need a partner for scrappin next weekend, you up for it? I pay for the sign up fee if you do the transportation?

    I'm looking for a really long time for the perfect Cranberry or Ruby Red. Now I found it, it's COLORBOX Chianti. My prefered pad for orange is Ranger's Distress Ink Spiced Marmelade. It's the perfect color, but not the best quality for different paperbackrounds or clear stamps.

  6. for any bright color, i HIGHLY recommend using Clearsnap's VIVID ink colors. i LOVE them! bright vivid colors that aren't muddy looking at all.

  8. Hi Jen, I am a bit of an inkpad addict (and a SU hobby demo) I'm embarassed to tell you how many I own, along with reinkers for all. I don't like buying an inkpad if I can't reink it! Even though I love the SU craft inks for their brightness, I think I prefer the Palette inks. Not only are the colors fabulous, but they dry faster than the SU craft ink. Papertrey has come up with a line of Palette inks that coordinate with their papers and embellishments. They sell full size pads, small cubes and, most important to me, reinkers!
    I have many of the Tim Holtz distress inks and I love to use them to sponge on their colors. But I don't get the desired results with stamped images, using these inks.
    Same with SU's classic inks. They're good for background techniques, blending, that sort of thing. The SU craft inks have great color and definition, but take quite a while to dry.
    I have many of the Tsukineko teardrop shaped inkpads, which I got for their portability and color variety. I like the VersaMagic and the Brilliance, but I'm not as happy with the Memento. They all dry fast enough for my liking, but the Memento aren't as crisp and bright as the other two.
    I have the Palette black, and Papertrey Palette white (which is nice and bright for a white!) and just today received a dark brown and green in my Papertrey order. (with reinkers!) I plan to get a few more basic colors in these large size pads and stick with what I have for the rest of the rainbow.
    I suggest you check out Papertrey

  11. i have to go with stampin' up! there inks are fantastic (both classic and craft/pigment). one of the many reasons i like them is because in the long run the color stays true. :)
