Spring Break Day #1

I worked while the kids slept in. Just working until they wake up, and then we do our chores so we can do something more fun.

Today's adventure . . . The Children's Museum!!

WARNING: all photos following are horrid due to the low-light in the building. But this was a "have fun and don't worry about awesome photos" day so it doesn't matter! :)

This is an AWESOME facility with loads to do for both the young and, ahem, the old

First they played with the water:

And then we went to market:

And then off to the farm:
The climbing wall:
And then the construction site:
The magnets and art:
And then on to the news:
And especially the weather:
And then a quick trip in the helicopter:
We had a lot of fun with Heather, Wyatt, and Zadie. The place was packed. Apparently every spring break mother had the same idea. But it really was amazing. Remind me, however, NOT to wear high-heel boots when lots of standing and walking are involved. OUCH!!

And we topped off the night with our Family Home Evening to go see this:
I really think it's one of my favorite movies in a VERY long time, and I'm counting adult movies too. It had a great story, great characters, awesome animation, entertainin plot, and a clean story line. I WILL be buying this one when it comes out. Really you should go see it!

  1. Thanks a lot for letting me know about the plans. Did we stop for Chic-fil-lay? I can't wait to take the kids to the Dragon movie. Hopefully, we'll get it!
