Orange You Glad We're Friends?!!

Guess what is on it's merry way to my house?

And why is this lovely orange camera on its way to my house? Because I'm going to be making TUTORIAL VIDEOS!! I'm so excited to try this. After filming the Nth Degree for about sixth months, I nearly overcame my stage fright and realized that like most people I am a visual learner. Talk at me all you like, but if you can show me how it's done then I'll really understand. My goal for now is to incorporate videos with my 2Peas classes starting with my March class. Then if I get the hang of it, you may be seeing YouTube movies right here on the ol' blog. And orange? ORANGE!! So happy. :)

Jimmy's spacer insertion went well. Like 15 minutes well. It's the strangest little gadget. It hooks around one tooth and then has a metal loop that reaches across the gap and touches the second tooth. It's to keep the teeth from falling in on one another since he doesn't even have a tooth growing there yet. He lisped for the first day. So cute!!

I'm working furiously to take time off from work next week. Time off you say? Does this little hobby really take that much of my life/time? Yup. It kind of does. I work about 20-30 hours a week. Surprise you? It surprises me, but I'm super grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and from home. VERY grateful.

Today I'm playing around with some stamps. Stamping just makes me happy. I finished up a few assignments for 2Peas yesterday.

Speaking of 2Peas, I'm sure for those of you that follow the website that you will have noticed some changes in the Garden and the Garden Girls. Although I'm super excited about the new changes to the physical Garden, I am terribly sad to see amazing designers go. These girls are my friends and we chatted often on our Garden Girl board. They are kind, supportive, creative, and amazing women. I will miss them terribly. But many of them continue to post in the gallery, which means I get to be as inspired as always. I just want to tell them how much I love them and how much I want great things for each of them. Big hugs to my past and present GG's!!

While I'm playing, I thought I'd pull out some Little Yellow Bicycle goodies and do some stuff. New product makes me happy (did you add some of the stuff from my last post to your personal wish list?)!

Here's my first project, using the Generation Z line. You can see more photos of this layout here:

Well, enough work stuff for the moment. I need to go feed my sick little buddy who is home with me today. I'm thinking soup would feel good on his sore throat.
