So you have ONE WEEK to contact me with your full name and address. :) And then if that doesn't happen, I'll select another winner. :) You can contact me at js_gallacher@hotmail.com

I'm also announcing the giveaway winner on the Scrapbook Trends Blog this morning so be sure and check over there as well if you've been commenting on the giveaway posts.

And because every post looks better with a few photos, I wanted to share a few layouts from my Scrapbook Trends article.

The first is from the October 2009 issue. I wanted to show readers how typography can play a powerful role in emphasizing journaling. For this layout, I cut out letters with my Cricut die cut machine, lightly adhered them to the cardstock and then I painted over them. When the paint was nearly dry, I pulled them back up and sprinkled on some more paint, which ended up with this cool result:

In November 2009, the article focused on "Perspective." The journaling in the following layout was written from my son's perspective who has something silly to say nearly every day:

Note: these issues are available for sale at http://www.scrapbooktrendsmag.com/ and can also be downloaded from the same site.

My upcoming call calls for-- Stories To Tell: Dreams - What are you dreaming of? What do you want to be when you grow up? Do you have a bucket list of things you'd like to accomplish before you turn a certain age? Please share your fun ideas with us!

I would love to see some great layouts on this subject!! As always please use the e-mail submit@scrapbooktrendsmag.com to submit your layouts. Putting a proper subject line in each e-mail also helps us know to what subject you're submitting. I can't wait to see what you're dreaming about!!
