PACK YOUR BAGS!!

Oh don't I wish it!! I wish I were laying on a tropical beach somewhere soaking up the rays and enjoying a good book while sipping something non-alcoholic but so very sweet.

Instead I'll be here in Utah enjoying our very balmy 45 degree weather. Winter-schminter, I prefer warmer temps.

So guess what?!! I am DONE!! Done with CHA projects that is. They are safely packed in packing peanuts and plastic on their way to their own sunny destination--California--sad that they get to vacation in the Sunshine state and I'm stuck back here in the "worst air in the nation." Seems wrong somehow. Of course trying to breathe through packing peanuts and plastic while being shipped 2-day air doesn't really seem like a very glamorous way for me to travel.

I have to say that I enjoyed myself this CHA prep--sometimes the designing gets the best of me. Oh that's not to say I'm not exhausted and I haven't put on an undisclosed amount of poundage, but I really loved playing with beautiful papers and embellishments.

This is the final line being released by Little Yellow Bicycle this weekend. "Pack Your Bags" is inspired by last year's "Traveler" but they've added new dimension and fabulous new embellishments all to make this line as equally delicious as the seven other lines being released.

Here is a purse card using one of their card templates:

If you're stuck at home like I am rather than enjoying nicer temps, perhaps my new class for 2Peas will cheer you up! Welcome to "A Mini Album a Month!"

I'm really excited about this class. Each month I'll focus on one style of album (acrylic, chipboard, fabric) and one theme (school, favorite photos, etc.).

January's class is "Fabric and Favorite Photos." I have to confess that I'm not much of a sewer (is that even a word), but I had so much fun with this project. I'll post a photo here, but you'll have to check out the class here to see all the photos. Each class has a downloadable PDF so you can create one all on your own and at your own pace. I'll be available all month to answer questions through the Education Forum, and one lucky participant will be selected for a fabulous prize!

And since I love a prize as much as the next person, why don't you check out the Scrapbook Trends blog for our latest giveaway. While you're there, you can check out the magazine's fabulous redesign. Can you spot the difference here?

Hmmm. Something's different new. Can you guess? So fun!! I feel VERY blessed to have the jobs that I have and the opportunity to work with awesome people and to meet new people like YOU!! (Make sure to leave a comment on the blog post for a chance to win a current issue--who doesn't want a magazine FULL of fabulous ideas?)
