That May Not Be That Scary--but I'm TERRIFIED of
What I'm About to Do!!

Katelyn carved that cute pumpkin at her church Young Women group last night. She's amazing!!

But I'm going to get on a plane tomorrow and that is my GREATEST FEAR!!

I'm not afraid of flying. I'm afraid of having an all out panic attack on the plane. And I don't do anything half way. My panic attacks involve passing out, emptying out all the contents of my stomach, and then being sick for days. Not fun to watch or participate in. So PLEASE wish me luck and that the meds will calm me and help me get to our destination. If I can have a successful flight, then maybe I can start traveling again, which I LOVE!!

Fingers crossed, lots of prayers, and positive visualization. Either way and in any condition I hope to be in Savannah by tomorrow night!!

  1. Have fun! You will be great. Worry about something other than the flight. Like how long before you will fly to see your sis!

  4. hope you have a safe trip and for me it helps LOTS when I have my i-pod in just before we go up(and yes I ignore the fact that all of those things are a no-no)

  5. good luck let us know how it goes. I am clautrophobic and haven't flown in 12 years it gets worse the older i get. I had to have an mri and they gave me something that calmed me down and i was totally fine in that littel tunnel for 20 minutes maybe your doc can give you something?

  6. I can't really say anything that the others haven't said, I just wanted to wish you luck. Flying is such an amazing experience and the world opens up to you when you can get past your phobia :-(. I'm not a real big fan of flying but we are taking off to Florida in less than 4 weeks with the whole family and THAT makes me nervous. Just keep the destination in your head and all the good stuff that awaits you there. You have overcome bigger things in your life, Jen. You can do this!!
