What am I Doing Today?
Cleaning my office. Oh, the horror! It's a total wreck. Now that I'm not working for the QVC show, I'm getting rid of oodles of stuff. I purge as often as possible so that I keep the newest items ready to use. I think I will have a scrapbook/garage sale in the next two weeks. I'm saving for new bookshelves or to recover my family room couch, which is looking SAD!!
Question for you. When you buy stuff at purging sales, do you prefer kits or just to pick through everything?

Hello Jen. I actually had a garage sale this weekend and I had an even amount of 'kits' and other things separate. For me, I was able to sell probably equal amounts of both the 'kits' and separate items. However, I think people are more apt to buy a kit because when they are at sales, a lot of people don't want to take the time and go through the stuff. However, I did have 2 ladies come back (without their kids) and go through everything. :-) GOOD LUCK!!!
I like to pick through things....kits are good too!
Oh how I wish I lived closer--I'd love to pick through the goodies!! LOL!

I would look through everything and also might buy kits. Are they not having any scrapbooking on QVC anymore? It was always sooooo much better than HSN!!!!!
No. The Lisa Bearnson segment, at least for now, is no longer. :(
i just had a scrap sale a few weekends ago. i tried to bag up my embellishments into little groupings. i sold a decent amount. little bags for $1 or $2 each are a quick way to put it together. made enough to buy a new ikea expedit shelf ;)
