Christmas Cards

Are you doing them this year? I am "undetermined" at least at this point. I'd like to, but I'm feeling over the top busy. Maybe I'll pop out a digi one and e-mail it to friends and family. LOL! Don't know what I want to do at this point, and postage is getting expensive these days. Remember when stamps were 18 cents or is that before your time?

One thing that makes think I might make cards is getting this kit in the mail:

Cute, huh? How does CK do it? Their kits are just so lovely and full of goodies. You really get a good deal in these kits (but watch the shipping if you're in Alaska--huh, sis!!). ;) My poor sister. She gets reamed on shipping for EVERYTHING! What was she thinking moving clear up to the Great North without me? (Clearly, I miss her terribly!)

If you do make your own cards, do you do photo cards? If so, where do you like to order them from? I'm tempted to use one of the cute templates over at 2Peas to get them done quick and easy, but I'm not sure which photo place has the best deals.

  1. Oh Jen..you amaze me.

The jury is still out as to whether or not I will do cards as well.

We might just do a video card again this year.

I DID however, pick up my KF countdown calendar yesterday and plan on making that today! I'm so excited! THose babies are not easy to find.

I think we're a go for lunch next Tue! Kara is in. Still haven't heard from Nat.

  3. Well, I'm not positive whart I will do either, but I did find an amazing Etsy shop for photo cads,
called "Less Ordinary Designs". You can visit it here - http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5409043&order=&section_id=&page=5
So, if I do send any these will definitely be the ones! Becky's card kit is sooo beautiful though, and I say if you have them in hand, you should go for it!
    Good luck!

  4. i used BH christmas card kit last year and loved it! but i'm just not feeling the card thing this year either. lol! i have the same thought as you ... do a digital card to send out. there are some cute card templates over at the BHG site. and i usually just print at shutterfly or costco ... just upload my digital image and print as a 5x7.

  5. I always make my own Christmas cards. I come up with one design, and then "mass produce" them. I don't have to make that many, though. 30-35 is enough for us to mail out/give to people.

I also always do a Christmas newsletter. I better get going on that - the first batch of cards (for overseas) have to go out soon, and I don't have any idea what I'm going to write in it!
